The objective of the riverbed excavation project and increasing the width of the Kiarud River was to address the issue of flooding and heavy rainfall that leads to flash floods. Due to the river’s narrow width, the water level would rise and cause numerous problems. This issue was resolved in the shortest possible time by GEO SZAN International Company.
